Weddings, Saturday, symbolism

What is the symbolism of Saturday weddings?





i'm doing a wedding project for school and one of the pages is about traditions; i have to put what the symbolism of different things is, and one of them is saturday weddings. i've tried to look on google, but it didn't really help me-i know it's become more popular because alot of people aren't working, but what is the symbolism of saturday weddings?? thanks.

As far as I know, they are usually held on Saturday simply due to the fact that people work on weekdays and Saturday is more convenient. In the past when weddings were more simple and less fussy, people got married any day of the week, or on Sundays.
