Question by Lorii D: What stores sell knitting supplies for a cheap price?

I want to buy bulky yarn and large knitting needles for a great price and i want to go to a store (not a website) that sells them for a great price. I want to knit a scarf for my mom for christmas, so please help!

Wal-Mart, they sell good metal needles, and they have some decent yarn. May I recommend Homespun yarn (it's a brand not a type of yarn) It makes and amazing scarf, but it is a little bit more difficult to knit with for beginners. But again it is one of the best yarns for scarfs, and yes Homespun yarn is sold at Wal-Mart.
