Question by nutlovee♥: Any good classics books with characters with distinct traits?

Please tell me any good CLASSICS books with any main characters. Don't waste your time by typing in books like "Twilight" or anything of the kind. It must be a classic book with a main character in it. Also please tell me the story-line of the book and a summary of what the charachter is like. No stupid or rude comments. Thanks.
